Jo’s Apple and Blackberry Crumble

Ingredients

  • 1lb plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 8oz butter
  • 2oz caster sugar + sugar to sweeten apples
  • 2lb cooking apples
  • 6oz blackberries

Method

  1. Stew apples until soft and add blackberries. Place in oven proof dish
  2. In a food processor, mix together flour, butter, sugar and cinnamon until it forms a crumbling texture
  3. Spoon over fruit and bake for 30 minutes on gas 5 or 200°c
  4. Dust top with caster sugar when dish is cooked
