
Jo’s Apple and Blackberry Crumble
Ingredients
- 1lb plain flour
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 8oz butter
- 2oz caster sugar + sugar to sweeten apples
- 2lb cooking apples
- 6oz blackberries
Method
- Stew apples until soft and add blackberries. Place in oven proof dish
- In a food processor, mix together flour, butter, sugar and cinnamon until it forms a crumbling texture
- Spoon over fruit and bake for 30 minutes on gas 5 or 200°c
- Dust top with caster sugar when dish is cooked
