I have always dreamed of being a professional singer, subsequent to my singing experiences in the church Choir, bands and as a session musician in Zimbabwe.

Coming to England in 2007 enlightened my vision and gave me a comprehensive picture of the music industry. Also following some Karaoke performances at our local community centres for small organisations and charities, at their Fundraising events and Christmas dinners, I got the strength and confidence to carry on with my music career.

After pondering and battling with my thoughts, I finally managed to audition on Britain’s Got Talent at the NEC in Birmingham.

The journey by taxi took almost half an hour to reach the arena. Nervously I opened the taxi door and thanked the driver. I walked slowly to the security guard who was standing in a corner with a hospitable smile on his face; “how may I help you gorgeous?” He asked; “I’m after Britain‘s Got Talent auditions” I mumbled; “Oh yeah I’ll take you through” he chortled; “What are you going to do today gorgeous?” “Sing” I answered unsteadily, while trying to compose myself. He took me to the registration desk where three smart gentlemen sat comfortably in their seats, behind some small tables. He introduced them to me after two minutes of examining my documents, I was then taken to a room where I was told to sit and wait for my name and number to be called out. The crowd was cheering; everyone was looking forward to performing and trying their luck.
